Mike Steckler and company just delivered the master bathroom of our dreams!  The finished product was more than we even hoped for and the whole process was pleasant (well, as pleasant as a major remodel can get). 

Unlike another reviewer on here, we had no problems with communication.  Before we even started, Mike made sure he understood our "vision" and offered lots of suggestions to help us achieve it.  Mike was either on site or checked in every day of the construction to make sure everything was on track.

As far as the construction itself, Mike, along with the contractors and employees he chooses to work with, are the most professional, courteous and skilled craftsmen I have ever experienced.  Shawn Morones did our tile work and flooring, and I have never seen such beautiful, quality work.  Kenny (painting), Steve (plumbing), and all the rest were meticulous, and it shows in the final product.

Mike gave us a clear estimate before starting, and the only changes, which were minor, resulted from us changing the scope of the project as we went along.  Even then, Mike was clear and upfront about any additional charges so there were no surprises. 

The crew cleaned up the work area every day and made sure nothing spilled out of the work area, even going as far as dusting and vacuuming the adjacent rooms.
I would never even consider using any other contractor, and I'm looking forward to our next project together.

Mike estimated my kitchen remodel and exceeded my expectations.  Not only did the work stay within budget, it was completed within the estimated time as well.  His employee, Cesar, is very trustworthy and did beautiful work, even coming up with new ideas as he went.  I left for work every day and came home to a clean environment.  I love my new kitchen!

First to Review Mike and his crew just finished up a master bathroom remodel, and we could not have asked for a better experience.  We love our bathroom, and appreciated the consultative approach to selecting the material we used.

He stayed within budget and ensured we were pleased with every step of the remodel project - from demo to completion.  At the end of each day, the crew ensured they left my house (except the bathroom) in the same state of cleanliness as when they arrived each morning.  They even went as far to ensure our walkway was hosed off to avoid additional dirt and debris coming in the house.  

My eyesore is now gone, and there is a beautiful bathroom in its place.  My only problem is that I don't have a surplus of money so he can remodel more bathrooms and my kitchen!!  SOON!  VERY SOON!

What a great find.  Mike and his crew are excellent.  They remodeled all four bathrooms and the kitchen in our fabulous 5 bedroom rose garden home in San Jose.  We really appreciated that he stayed on top of the job from start to finish.  The quality of the work was superb.   The pricing was very reasonable.  And most of all Mike was easy to deal with, shared his design ideas, listened to us, and made sure that we were satisfied with the finished product. If you have a construction project, we highly recommend that you get Mike involved.  He is a problem solver who offers efficient and practical solutions.  The finished work is quite sensational.   When quests see the attention to detail of the work he did in our home,  they ask for our contractor's name.
